Mr. Del Plato was born and raised in Batavia and attended local schools. He holds AAS degrees in History and Commercial Art from Genesee Community College, a BA in Studio Art from SUNY – Geneseo, a BFA in Painting and a MA in Painting / Art History from SUNY – Buffalo.

He has taught painting at Notre Dame High School, Genesee County Parochial Elementary Schools, and Genesee Valley BOCES. He also served as assistant manager at the Gallery of Sporting Art, Genesee County Village & Museum in Mumford, NY.

A past officer of the Batavia Society of Artists, he has exhibited in their shows, and at the Genesee - Orleans Regional Arts Council, Jane Clarey – Minor Gallery in Buffalo, the Animal Scramble in Rochester and in Harrisburg, PA’s Arts Center National Exhibition.
