Mr. Deni has lived in Batavia since 1947. He grew up in Oakfield, NY, and attended Batavia Vocational School for Blueprinting, Rochester Business Institute, Roberts Barber College, and Continental Beauty School.

He has been a professional hairdresser / barber stylist since 1948. He retired in 2001.

He has been a member of the Batavia Society of Artists since 1951, when his friend Rose DiCarlo asked him to join. He was also acquainted with Roy M. Mason and Nina Mason Booth.
