On a perfect Saturday, where in Genesee County would you paint?

"On Mill Street in LeRoy."

Mr. Huebsch began painting in Cairo, Egypt, while serving in the U.S. Navy as a medical equipment repairman. A friend implored him to take a painting class at Cairo American College with her. After hearing the plea, "Try it, it could be fun," he signed up only to find out his friend had not; he tried it and enjoyed it.

It is still fun. On Saturdays he paints with, "The All Weather Gang," a group of outdoor painters he sometimes calls the "Le Groupe des Brioches" or "The Bun Bunch." Named after the hubcap sized cinnamon rolls they traditionally consume with copious amounts of coffee until they get just the right shake in their brush hands before caravanning to a painting site. He devotes at least one night a week to painting in his studio, located just outside Corfu, NY. He has a gallery in his home, "6 of 6 Art."

He is a member and award winner of the Batavia Society of Artists and the Alden Art Club. He shows his paintings at member exhibitions. He has paintings displayed at a number of industrial sites and offices throughout Western New York.
