Kathleen Mager has been a member of the Batavia Society of Artists for 55 years. She has painted all of her adult life. She started with oil colors, but after one of her children finger painted on a wet oil painting, she changed to acrylics. She now mainly works with watercolors.
She has attended many workshops and classes over the years. She has taken classes with John Hodgins, and travels to Maine for a weeklong workshop each summer. The past few years, she has painted with Bernice Yunker at her studio in Elba.
