Born in 1884, Nina was the co-founder of the Batavia Society of Artists with Rose Pontillo DiCarlo. The first Society meetings were held in her house at 45 Ellicott Avenue.
She was affiliated with many organizations, including the Buffalo Society of Artists, the Pan-Art Club of Buffalo, Genesee Group of Rochester, Catherine Lorrilard Wolf Art Club of New York City, and the Academic Artists Association of Springfield, MA. S he was also listed in the Who's Who in American Art.
Nina taught many other artists, mostly women. During her life she painted hundreds of life-like brilliantly colored floral arrangements and portraits.
She died January 22, 1958 of diabetes.
