Mrs. Yunker owns Farmer's Wife Studio in Elba, NY. She received a B.A. in studio art from Empire College. She has worked in various mediums.

She teaches adults and children in her studio and other local sites including the Genesee County Senior Center, Nursing Homes, ARC, the YWCA and G.C.C.

She has painted wall murals in nursing homes and mission stations in Costa Rica and Appalachia.
