West Bethany Road & Brown Road

West Bethany is north of Route 20 along the Alexander – Bethany border. It was at one time a thriving community supporting mills, a store, a blacksmith shop, and a post office. The Little Tonawanda provided power for feed and flour grinding. At one time Crawford’s Mill produced cloth.
